Our first HOPE MISSION TEAM here at the new outreach base. They worked hard and did a great job at taking the message of hope to this nation. Well done guys!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY JAKIN!

Above: Kai told us that Jakin wanted a helicopter birthday cake (don't laugh, that is what it's supposed to be!!) So Jakin enjoyed a banana cake, in the shape of a helicopter for his first birthday.

KAI'S 4TH BIRTHDAY

Kai's 4th birthday party

The kids loved the silly party streamers! Everyone had a blast at Kai's birthday party and went home with a balloon, a piece of chocolate cake and a HUGE smile on their face!

Stacks of kids turned up to surprise Kai and celebrate his birthday with him. He was STOKED!

Kai wanted a chocolate "Diego and Jaguar" cake (from the cartoon 'Go Diego Go!'). A big challenge considering we don't have most of the ingredients here, let alone a cake tin, or flavouring or colourings! Anyhow, the end result doesn't look amazing, but it tasted great and Kai was over the moon about it. It even managed to feed 72 people! Thanks God!

Kai is learning to spell

Jakin is walking!

Jakin is WALKING! ~ ~ 11 months old and our little guy is now a toddler! (This video is not the best footage because it was taken at night time, but it captures some of his first steps so his Nanas and Poppas can "oooh" and "aah" over him!)
